Current Project - The Decade of the 1960s

sixties style graphicPicking up where we left off last year, Porterville College will again examine various issues related to the 1960s.  Beginning in September 2010 and continuing through May 2011, CHAP will sponsor numerous events with a sixties theme. Stay tuned as the year progresses and be sure to come back to this site to see our updated list of events as we continue to add to them.

Special Thanks to AAUW

The members of CHAP would like to thank the Porterville Chapter of the American Association of University Women for their involvement with our program.  AAUW has been a key supporter of CHAP since 2007.  Their outreach within the community and their involvement with CHAP events has been a wonderful asset. We look forward to continuing our relationship with AAUW, so that each year we may bring the world of culture and history to the residents of Porterville and the surrounding area.
