What is a podcast?
A
podcast is simply a program of audio files "episodes" which are released
periodically. The focus of these will be emphasis of
General Chemistry concepts already introduced in class and in
the textbook.
Do I need an iPod
to experience a podcast?
No.
An ipod is not required to listen to the podcasts. You can
listen to them on your computer if you like, or any other audio
player for that matter.
How can I get the podcast if I am
using iTunes/iPod?
In
iTunes, select "Advanced" from the menu, then select
"Subscribe to Podcast..."
A box will open for you to type the URL of the podcast.
Copy and paste the following URL into the box:
I do not have an iPod/iTunes.
How else can I hear the podcast?
You
can go to the weblog link below, where the files are
posted. Click on the title of each post. Your
browser should prompt you to save the file. When the
download is complete, you should be able to play it in Windows
Media Player, or most any other audio player on your computer.
