Chemistry 101A Fall 2008 Podcast

What is a podcast?

A podcast is simply a program of audio files "episodes" which are released periodically.  The focus of these will be emphasis of General Chemistry concepts already introduced in class and in the textbook.

Do I need an iPod to experience a podcast?

No.  An ipod is not required to listen to the podcasts.  You can listen to them on your computer if you like, or any other audio player for that matter.

How can I get the podcast if I am using iTunes/iPod?

In iTunes, select "Advanced" from the menu, then select "Subscribe to Podcast..."
A box will open for you to type the URL of the podcast.  Copy and paste the following URL into the box:

I do not have an iPod/iTunes.  How else can I hear the podcast?

You can go to the weblog link below, where the files are posted.  Click on the title of each post.  Your browser should prompt you to save the file.  When the download is complete, you should be able to play it in Windows Media Player, or most any other audio player on your computer.

How can I give feedback?

The best way is to post a comment in the above weblog under each episode.  Another way is to e-mail me.  My address is listed below.
