Total lecture 54 hours. The course in interpersonal communication offers a unique opportunity to understand ourselves, our relationships with others and the situations in which we find ourselves. In short how we develop both intrapersonally and impersonally. While current communication theory is discussed, the interpersonal perspective focuses on actions rather than the hypothetical. The course also provides an opportunity to discuss and examine the process by which people, acting collectively, make and remake their social and cultural worlds. Course is also offered online.
