are chosen for aging to obtain just the right hint of oak. Usually
you have to travel to the Coast or Napa Valley to experience
the joy of wine-tasting. The Porterville College Fall Jubilee
brings
the experience to you and your friends right here at home.
Wander among the tables and try something you've never tasted
before. Gently
swirl the wine in your glass and smell the amazing bouquet both
before and after. Taste the subtle flavors on your tongue. Compare
notes with the people around you. Try another sip or move on
to a different bottle. Enjoy yourself.
The Fall Jubilee has brought together wineries from the Central
Valley and the California Coast. Here you have the opportunity
to taste the regional differences in where the grapes are grown.
Each vintner has his or her own techniques. Representatives from
many of the wineries will be on hand to answer questions. You
