All pharmacy schools require knowledge some of the following science classes:
general biology, inorganic chemistry, organic chemistry, microbiology, calculus,
human anatomy, human physiology, physics, and biochemistry. Because of the
many science courses required and the possibility of needing to take the
Pharmacy Admission Test many applicants to pharmacy schools get a Bachelors
of Arts or Bachelors of Science degree in a science. It is important that
you check the prerequisites of the school you want to attend.
