The College

Statistics prove that Porterville College students who transfer to a four-year college earn grades that are equal to or better than those earned by students who go directly from high school to a fouryear institution. Campus Bookstore

Textbooks, Supplies Porterville College makes educational materials available at the lowest possible cost for all students. Supplies and new textbooks may be purchased at minimum cost in the college bookstore located in the student center. The college bookstore stocks textbooks, school supplies and sundry items. It is open daily, some evenings hours, and at selected times during the summer session.

An ASPC card can pay your way!

The ASPC card is $15.00 per academic year, $7.50 Spring Semester only, and the ASPC Student Senate has made a concerted effort to make the card an attractive offer to all students. The ASPC card is required of all students who expect to benefit in any way from funds or activities under the control of the student senate. Benefits include all of the following: Free admission to programs of the Porterville Concert Association; all Porterville College athletic events; all PC College Drama and Music Department events; one $5.00 coupon per semester off the purchase of textbooks at the PC Bookstore; free or reduced admission to campus activities such as barbecues, speakers, etc.; reduced price of admission to the Barn Theater; purchase of a Meal Card in the PC Cafeteria ($25.00 for $30.00 worth of food); and discounts with local area merchants. This is one of the best offers of any community college in the state!
