Are you currently teaching science and/or mathematics in the K-12 school system? Have you ever thought about going back to college to brush up on your skills and knowledge but don't know where to fit it into your busy schedule? The Division of Natural Sciences and Mathematics offers several classes during the college's summer session that might interest you! We typically offer the following courses every summer:

ANAT P052 Introduction and Survey of Anatomy and Physiology
CHEM P106 Introduction to Chemical Principles
MATH P102 Pre-Calculus Functions and Graphs
MATH P122 Introduction to Probability and Statistics

Here's a little quiz for you:

1. Do you feel as though your knowledge of the particular subject area has become stale?
2. Are you still able to make connections between your subject area and the real world?
3. Are you interested in learning new ideas and fresh ways to present your subject matter?
4. Is "learning" something that still interests you personally?
5. Have you been searching for a professional growth experience?

If you answered "yes" to any of these questions, perhaps it might be time for you to visit Porterville College and see what we have to offer!

Want to learn something new? Want to rediscover something old? Want to present topics in your subject area in different, perhaps more sophisticated ways? Look no further than Porterville College, your personal institution of higher education!
