Hi All,

1. Induction Ceremony…

THURSDAY, April 7^th at 7:00 pm in the Theatre

Please arrive between 6 and 6:30 pm to get set up. We encourage you to dress in business attire, which is what you would wear to church on Christmas or Easter. No t-shirts, jeans or shorts…dress up please.

We are having a potluck reception after the ceremony for our new members. Please view the sign up and let me know what you can bring or what time you can volunteer.

Practice (for new members) is Tuesday, April 5th from 6 - 7 pm in the Theatre.

2. Domestic Violence Awareness...

Iris Festival - Saturday, April 16th from 9:30 am to 5 pm

We will be helping the Women's Shelter promote the "Telling Amy's Story" below. Let me know when you can volunteer to help pass out flyers...each volunteer will receive a free T-shirt, so please include you size with the time you can be at the festival. See the list of volunteers (thanks Josh) we already have...more people makes more fun! :)

Collecting items for the Women's Shelter - April 4th through May 13th

We will be gathering items for donation to the shelter, to be distributed at the end of finals week. The list of items requested are:   size 4, 5 and 6 Diapers, shampoos and conditioners, canned food but especially the fruits, deodorant, hairbrushes, band-aids, powder formula (similac, enfimil, good start), cleaning supplies (furniture polish, all purpose cleaner), paper towels, toilet paper

3. Spring Ball...

aka...The Senior's Prom

April 9th at 5:30 pm, Veteran's Memorial Building (1900 W. Olive, Porterville, CA 93257)

We need volunteers to serve food, dance, and help attendees have a good time. This is a formal event and requires that volunteers dress up. Please let me know if you can help out.

4. Graduating in May...

Let me know ASAP, via email, so we can get our graduation regalia order into Headquarters.
