After you become a member of Phi Theta Kappa, you are eligible to apply for scholarships only available to members. The following steps will enable you to log onto and search collegefish.org for scholarships.

Step 1:

Obtain your Phi Theta Kappa membership ID number (sent to you approximately six weeks after your induction from the National Headquarters). Have the username and password, sent to your email address, available. The passwords are usually very long, so it's easiest to have your email account open to simply copy and paste.

Step 2:

Open the ptk.org website and sign in under the Members tab with the Get Connected Login link.

Step 3:

Choose Porterville College from the drop down menu and type in your membership ID number.

Step 4:

The first time you log into ptk.org, you will be asked to update and verify the information on file. Save the information and you can log off.

Wait approximately 10 - 20 minutes before logging into collegefish.org.

Step 5:

Log onto collegefish.org using the user name and password provided to you by Phi Theta Kappa via email.

Step 6:

To search for scholarships, locate the Search for Scholarships link in the menu bar on the left side of the page.

You will be able to select criteria that will customize the scholarships you are eligible for. Please note that it is not necessary to make a selection for each category provided.

If you customize fewer criteria (make fewer selections), the more scholarships you'll be able to review.

If you find there are too many scholarships for you to read, then go back to the original page and make more selections. This will narrow the scholarships you are eligible for.

*Note: You can also search for transfer schools you might be interested in.
