This page is where Porterville College's key planning documents are stored. These documents are listed in alphabetical order with descriptions below and are provided as PDF files or as links if they are located elsewhere.
5-Year Construction Plan. This document, maintained by Addington & Associates, lists construction projects, projecting forward at least 5 years.
5-Year Scheduled Maintenance Plan. This document lists all scheduled maintenance projects, large and small, for at least the next 5 years.
Academic Guidebook. This document is provided to all full-time and adjunct faculty at Porterville College and provides faculty with information on various policies and procedures.
Accreditation Reports. This is a link to a page on the Porterville College web site that contains all of our accreditation documents for the past six years.
Affirmative Action Plan. This document, maintained by the Human Resources Office, describes Porterville College's Affirmative Action and Diversity policies.
College Catalog. This web page provides PDF versions of the most recent Porterville College catalog and archive versions of older catalogs (back to 1999-00) for reference.
Educational Master Plan. The Educational Master Plan is the major document outlining the history of the college, its organizational structure, and its plans for the future. This document contains data on the college, demographic information, and information on the surrounding community. Note: the PDF version here is a 'proof' copy. The printed version has a cover page.
Energy Use Plan. The Energy Use Plan describes how changes in the college's building plans and academic calendar will affect our use of energy for upcoming years.
Growth and Space Needs Plan. The growth and space needs plan was compiled by MAAS Company, which was employed by Kern Community College District after voters passed Measure G, a bond that will provide for facilities improvement within the district. This plan outlines current enrollment and projects college growth and facilities needs to 2020.
KCCD Environmental Scan. The Kern Community College District Environmental Scan was completed in September 2004 as part of the district's strategic planning process. KCCD Strategic Plan. The current Kern Community College District Strategic Plan was completed in September 2006. More information on the strategic planning process can be found at the district web page, http://www.kccd.edu under the link for the district chancellor.
Participatory Governance at Porterville College. This document provides an overview of the participatory governance process at Porterville College and the responsibilities of each staff member and student within that process.
Program Review. Porterville College's program review process was reviewed and modified in the spring 2006 semester. This web page, part of the Office of Institutional Research site, provides key program review documents, data for academic divisions to use for their reviews, and PDF versions of program reviews that have been conducted recently.
Strategic Plan. The Porterville College Strategic Plan was adopted in the spring of 2007. This document will guide our planning efforts for the next few years. It contains 5 strategic initiatives, to be accomplished by spring 2008 and 5 long-term goals, to be completed within 5 years.
Student Equity Plan. This document, completed in October 2004, provides data comparing Porterville College students of various demographic backgrounds on key access and success criteria. It also establishes some goals for the future regarding plans for improving in a number of key areas.
Vehicle Replacement Plan. The Vehicle Replacement Plan lists the vehicles operated and maintained by the Maintenance and Operations department along with a schedule for replacement for each over the next few years.
