HOMEWORK   DROP-OFF  PROCEDURES

 

Service For:  Students and instructors (adjunct and full-time).

 

Purpose:  Provide a place for students to leave assignments, including:

 

THIS SERVICE IS NOT A COLLECTION AGENCY FOR REGULAR ASSIGNMENTS.

 

Drop-Off Location:  PC Library (7 am – 9 pm, M – Th; 7 am – noon, Friday)

 

Service Provided:

·        Date stamp the assignment.

·        Time received noted on stamp.

·        Instructor’s name written on stamp.

·        Library staff will initial the stamp.

·        Student workers will get library staff to process the assignment.

·        Assignment put in instructor’s file in file cabinet in library work room.

·        Students fills out a receipt that they keep—this is their proof

 that they gave their assignment to library staff.

 

·        Student must inform instructor that an assignment is in library.

·       Assignments will not be returned to students after received.

·       NOTHING ACCEPTED DURING FINALS WEEK.

·       Collected materials may be put in the garbage after six months.

 

 

Faculty Pick-Up Procedure:

 

      Instructors are responsible for picking up assignments.

·        Instructors need to come to the library to check their files in the cabinet for

late assignments.

·        The file cabinet functions like the mailroom/mailbox.

·        Notebooks should be given to the instructors—the file cabinet is too small

for large items.

 

Exceptions:  Contact library staff for special requests.
