            Text:  Ray Summers, Essentials of New Testament Greek

Course content:

            This course is a continuation of the New Testament Greek sequence.  The following topics will be covered:

Meeting #1:

·         Review Lesson 6

·         Lesson 7: The Greek Sentence

·         Home study: Practice of Lesson 7

Meeting #2:

·         Review Lesson 7

·         Lesson 8: Prepositions

·         Home study: Practice of Lesson 8

Meeting #3:

·         Review Lesson 8

·         Lesson 9: Verbs – Personal Pronouns and Enclitics

·         Home study: Practice of Lesson 9

Meeting #4

·         Review Lesson 9

·         Lesson 10: Demonstrative Pronouns

·         Home study: Practice of Lesson 10

Meeting #5

·         Review Lesson 10

·         Lesson 11: Present Middle & Passive Indicative

·         Home study: Practice of Lesson 11

After each class meeting, your study assignment will include the following:

·         Read the lesson in the book;

·         Complete all exercises in the chapter for that week;

·         Take Self-Check test, if assigned.

By the end of the five weeks, you should be able to read a greater variety of simple verses found in the Greek New Testament.
