Library Resources and Services
Porterville College Library houses over 35,000 print books and 50 magazine, journal, and newspaper titles. Through the Library, students have access to 50+ databases of online information from periodicals and books. Students also have online access to five full-text electronic book collections (ebooks). The Library's special collection, Valley Writers, has over 500 book titles written by over 200 authors from California's Great Central Valley.
Wi-Fi and 15 computer work stations provide students with Internet access. Media resources include DVDs, CDs, and cassette titles. Students can use study rooms, carrels, and the Reading Room for their school work. Faculty-reserved materials can be viewed and copied by students.
