This page exists as the repository for evidence for Porterville College's 2006 Accreditation visit by the Accrediting Commission for Community and Junior Colleges (ACCJC). Visiting team members can find accreditation evidence documents in hard copy form in the room provided for them in the Student Center and also here on this site. This page will provide either the document itself for each piece of evidence mentioned in our self study or a link to where the document can be found. We do recognize however, that the visiting team may ask for additional documents. These will be provided upon request. Porterville College Title V Hispanic Serving Institutions Grant: An abstract of the grant proposal can be found here. Note that the Project Director has since changed to Michael Carley (mcarley@portervillecollege.edu). Some changes have been made to grant activities as well, as is typical of grants of this size.

Porterville College Cooperative Title V Hispanic Serving Institutions Grant: This is our second Title V grant, this one being a cooperative one with the College of Sequoias in nearby Visalia. Budget Reduction Task Force (BRTF) membership: A description of the BRTF can be found here. Note that this committee (now defunct) was a sub-committee of the College Learning Council, so no minutes were kept. Final decisions were made by the CLC.

Course outlines: Porterville College has 350-400 course outlines; too many to place here. However, these documents will be available to the visiting accreditation team upon their visit. They are stored on the "K" drive on our network, so the team can access them from any networked campus computer. Accreditation info for vocational programs: The corrections area certification comes in email form each year. Here is a copy of the certification letter for the core course for 2005-06. Certifications for each of the peace officer training courses can be found in this document. Here also are the accreditation certificates for the vocational nursing program and the psychiatric technician program.

CSU and UC Transfer Data: PC produces an annual report on students who transfer to CSU and UC campuses. HR documents regarding faculty selection: The faculty selection process is governed by the district's contract with the Community College Association. VTEA allocation: Details on our VTEA allocation for the past two years has been combined into this file. The information includes the VTEA allocation for 2005-06, the tentative allocation for 2006-07, the allocation by TOP code for each of those two years, a narrative on the TOP code determination process, and our response to local plan requirements.

Graduation Requirements Committee membership: This group was a sub-committee of the Curriculum Committee, so no minutes were kept. However, they reported back to the Curriculum Committee and their reports are discussed in that group's minutes. The subcommittee's membership is listed in the May 13, 2003 Curriculum Committee minutes (see link above) and their activities are reported at subsequent meetings.

Porterville College Foundation Audit: The two most recent Porterville College Foundation audits are available in hard copy in the accreditation meeting room. These audits were performed by an outside agency and are not available in machine-readable format.

KCCD Budget Allocation : The 2005-06 budget allocation can be found in this document. Note that this is an Excel file with several tabs at the bottom. A description of our budget allocation formula is available in the accreditation meeting room. This document is 53 pages and is no longer available in machine-readable format, so we cannot post it here. A district-wide task force is currently working on a new formula which will be utilized starting in the 2007-08 academic year.
