The Fire Technology Department of Porterville College in cooperation with the U.S. Forest Service and CAL FIRE is pleased to offer the course
“Incident Safety Awareness for Hired Vendors”.
This one-day training is required annually for operators of privately-owned equipment contracted to respond to active wildland fires with the State of California (CAL FIRE) and/or the United States Forest Service.
Registration and payment, which will only be accepted online or in person, must be received by 5:00 p.m. the Wednesday before the class, NO EXCEPTIONS! No walk-ins will be accepted. Class size is limited and registration will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.
