WHO SHOULD ATTEND?
Parents, Young Adults, College Faculty, High school Teachers and Service Providers.
The transition from school to adulthood is pivotal in the lives of all students. For a student with a disability, the transition from high school to the world of adulthood can seem overwhelming. However, with thoughtful planning, this transition can lead to postsecondary opportunities and meangingul employment.
This FREE conference will provide information and resources about community college and support services for students with learning and other disabilities. Presentation will focus on using technology to improve executive functioning. Increasing campus social connections, the importance of self-advocacy, and planning the transition from high school to college.
