Students who withdraw from all their courses during the semester may have to repay some or all of the Title IV federal aid received for classes. It is very important that students who must withdraw from courses stop by the Office of Financial Aid and discuss options available.
During the semester, the withdrawal dates of all financial aid recipients who withdrew from all their courses are checked. Students who withdrew prior to the 60% of course completion will be reviewed for possible repayment. Those students who must repay will be notified by mail and the amount due must be repaid before any further financial aid funds can be disbursed.
The Board of Governor’s Fee Waiver is not affected by the Return to Title IV Federal regulations. A student who is suspended from financial aid may still enroll at Porterville College and receive a Fee Waiver, if eligible.
