Beginning November 2, 2015 Porterville College will be using a new application called Open CCCApply.
The new application will be used for Summer/Fall 2016 admission. The current application will still be used for Spring 2016 admission.
All applicants for Summer/Fall 2016 (and later) will have to establish new log on credentials for this application.

|Step 3:||Assessment & Orientation: Take the assessment test if you are a new student and plan to take an English or math class. Refer to the assessment information Online or call 559.791.2329 for assessment information.
If you are not located near Porterville College, online student orientation is available.

|Step 4:||We strongly recommend that you meet with a counselor to assess your goals and select appropriate courses. Call 559.791.2329 to make an appointment with a counselor or advisor.|
|Step 5:||Register for your class using Web registration or come to the campus for walk-in registration. For instructions on using Web registration, go to the FAQ page on "enrolling".|
|Step 6:||When registering for your classes, please verify that you have a College email address; if you do not have one assigned to you please create one at this time. If you already have a College email address, or an email address from Bakersfield or Cerro Coso College, please be sure to review your address during registration as this will be the only initial form of communication between yourself and the instructor. Login to InsidePC to access your college email.|
|Step 7:||Look for an email from your instructor at your college email address. It should arrive on or before the first day of your class. Make sure that you login to your Online class on the first day that it begins. To get to your Online class, login to InsidePC, click on My Courses, then click on your class.|
Online: These courses require no on-campus attendance.
Hybrid-Online: These courses blend Online instruction with some traditional on-campus instruction. Dates and times of on-campus meetings will be noted in the schedule.
Students taking Online and hybrid-Online courses must check their college email address and login to their Online class by the first day of the class.
