Porterville College Child Development Center is funded by the California State Department of Education. The services provided through the center include care for preschooler age children (2 to 5 years). An inclusion program for young children with special needs is also provided. Porterville College offers child care services for fulltime Porterville, Bakersfield and Cerro Coso Community College students. Applicants for child care must also meet the State eligibility requirements.
You will need to provide the following documentation in order to be placed on an eligibility list. Please read and complete the application thoroughly. Incomplete applications will not be placed on the Eligibility List.
Paid Monthly: A copy of your most recent pay stub
Paid every two weeks: A copy of your last two pay stubs
Paid every week: A copy of you last four pay stubs
YOU WILL BE NOTIFIED BY PHONE IF YOUR CHILD IS ACCEPTED INTO THE PROGRAM BY ROSIE SILVA OR KAREN BALL.
An application with a disconnected telephone number will be automatically removed from the Eligibility List.
If your child is accepted, your child will need the following prior to enrollment:
A T.B. skin test
A copy of the child’s current immunization record
