Interpreters 

Students: Please meet with DRC Staff as early as possible to schedule interpreters for your classes in the upcoming semester. You can also use the online interpreter/captionist request form below. 

To schedule an interpreter for an event, please use the interpreter/captionist request form. 

Please note: We ask that you submit your request at least 2 weeks in advance. Last-minute requests or schedule changes may result in delays finding an interpreter.

Real-Time Captioning 

Students: Please meet with DRC Staff as early as possible to schedule real-time captionists for your classes in the upcoming semester. You can also use the online interpreter/captionist request form below. If you need to borrow a laptop or microphone to receive captioning services, you will need to complete an Equipment Checkout Agreement with a DRC staff member in the DRC office (AC-115). Laptops and microphones must be returned to the DRC by the end of each semester.

Assistive Listening Devices 

Students wishing to check out an assistive listening device (FM system) may call (559) 791-2215 (V/TTY) or email drc@portervillecollege.edu to make an appointment with the DRC Coordinator or Alternative Media Specialist. If you will need an interpreter for this appointment, make sure to request one when you schedule the appointment. During the appointment, you will need to complete an Equipment Checkout Agreement with a DRC staff member in the DRC office. Assistive listening devices must be returned to the DRC by the end of each semester.

A confirmation email will be sent regarding this request if the “Email address for confirmation” field is filled out completely.

If there is more than one attendee, please separate each name with a comma.
Please enter student ID Number without the @ symbol (example: 00123456)

Please give event date(s), start times, and end times.
Please list all class names & CRNs (Example: ENGL P101B 70020, INST P100 70033)
Schedule/bill, fliers, event details, meeting agendas can be uploaded here.
Files must be less than 2 MB.
