FREE Pizza for π Day 🍕
03/14/24
The ASPC and The Student Life office celebrated π (pi) day this week in the best way we know how... FREE Pizza! In fact, can't think of a better way to celebrate our favorite irrational number😁.
Pi Day is an annual celebration of the mathematical constant of π. Pi Day is observed each year on March 14 (3/14) since 3, 1, and 4 are the first three significant figures of π. It was first celebrated in the United States in 1988 by Larry Shaw, an employee of the San Francisco science museum, the Exploratorium. Celebrations often involve eating pie or holding pi recitation competitions.
