It's Easy to Become a PC Pirate

Follow the simple steps below.
  • To apply, create an account or log in to CCCApply​ and submit your application.​ See instructions below about verification on the application.

  • Receive your confirmation email with your SAC username within 2 business days.
  • Choose your classes online or with a counselor.

Starting February 2, 2024, CCCApply will be integrating identity verification through​. will help protect student identities and prevent fraudulent students from taking spots in SAC classes. 
 Tip about
Certain populations of students won't be able to use
  • No valid identity documentation from country of origin 
  • No permanent address (housing insecure/homeless) 
  • No internet access or a smartphone (incarcerated) 
  • Minors
  • enhancement in progress that may make this tool available in the future. The enhancement will not support foster youth or juvenile justice students who are wards of the court.

For students who aren't able to use, there will be 24/7 student support that will allow you to connect via live chat to verify your identity. You will also be able to verify in person with SAC Admissions and Records. Your verified status will last for one year.

Acceptable documents for identity verification (may require more than one of the following):
  • Government-issued ID such as a current Driver's License or State ID card
  • Passport or Passport Card
  • U. S. Permanent Resident Card
  • Employment Authorization Document

Once you Create your College Account, you will receive either a notification that includes your assiged PC Student ID and your PC email or a notificaiton of a Delayed applications.  If your account is Delayed, you will received an email within 1-3 business days, with information on your next steps.  We will send that email to the address you provided on the applications. Check your spam or junk folder to ensure that you receive the email. ​is the fastest and quickest option to verify your identity allowing you to enroll and register classes sooner, so we highly encourage all students to use this expedited process. 

If you’re currently enrolled, these changes will not impact you at this time. They will come into effect if you have a lapse of enrollment over one year and need to reapply. You will also be able to verify in person with Porterville Colleges Admissions and Records Office instead of in person with SAC Admissions for below.
