In an ongoing effort to promote transparency and foster collaboration across campus, Porterville College hosted two pivotal informational forums this week on Wednesday, December 3rd. The events offered faculty and staff a detailed look at the current state of the college, spanning from academic program development to major physical construction projects.
Office of Instruction Updates The afternoon began in the Innovations Center (LRC) with the Office of Instruction. This session focused on the academic core of the college, discussing the status of current programs and the strategic initiatives driving course creation and program development. Presenters highlighted upcoming academic projects and strategies designed to enhance student success, ensuring that PC continues to meet the educational needs of the community.
Facilities & Construction Updates Following the academic update, the conversation moved to SAGE 104 for a comprehensive Facilities Forum. The Facilities team, including leadership from Finance and Administration, Maintenance and Operations, and IT, walked attendees through current campus projects and reviewed the roadmap of construction and modernization projects on tap for the future.
