Creativity and Connection: The 2026 Student Art Show is Here!
The Porterville College Art Gallery has been transformed into a vibrant showcase of student talent for the 2026 Student Art Exhibition. This annual tradition celebrates a full year of creative energy, featuring everything from realistic sculptures and detailed paintings to digital works from our recent film festival.
Beyond the gallery walls, the opening was a true campus celebration, featuring a ceramics sale and an impromptu live jam session by students and faculty from the music department during the event. (see the photos below).
Several student artists have already reached a major milestone: selling their very first professional pieces. Whether it's Savannah Galindo’s deeply personal Still Life with Meaning , Ricky Carrillo’s quirky abstract sculptures, Monique Perez’s emotional resin-and-wire work, or any of the other pieces in the show, the level of skill on display is truly impressive.
Don't miss your chance to see—or even purchase—these incredible works before the show closes on May 14th. Come support our students as they prepare for their next steps at universities like CSU Chico, CSU Bakersfield, and beyond.
