Access Programs Celebrate Class of 2026 with Annual Breakfast

The Porterville College Cafeteria was filled with excitement last week as the EOPS, CalWORKs, NextUp, and Foster Youth Access Programs hosted their annual end-of-year celebration on Friday, May 1st. The event brought together graduating students, their families, and the staff members who supported them throughout their time on campus.

The morning began with a delightful breakfast in a space featuring large, celebratory decorations that set a festive tone for the day. Students and guests enjoyed a new addition to this year's event: a photo booth that provided a fun way to capture memories and celebrate the morning’s achievements together.

A highlight of the gathering was the formal recognition of graduates from each of the individual Access Programs. The room was filled with applause as students were honored for the hard work and perseverance required to reach their educational goals. These success stories highlighted the vital role that program resources and community support play in student achievement.

Access Programs at Porterville College continue to provide essential services that help students from diverse backgrounds overcome obstacles and succeed academically.
