College life is about more than just attending classes and hitting the books—it is about building a true sense of community, connection, and belonging. To help bridge the gap between students and college leadership, we are thrilled to announce an exciting new initiative: "Bites with the VPSS" (Vice President of Student Services).

Creating Connection and Removing Barriers

The core goal of Bites with the VPSS is simple yet powerful: to remove traditional barriers between students and college leadership. We want to create an approachable, welcoming space where students feel heard, valued, and fully supported. Through informal and open conversations, this initiative gives you (our students) a direct line to the Vice President of Student Services. Whether you have questions about campus resources, want to share your unique student experiences, or simply want to chat and build community with peers and leaders, this is your space. Your voice matters, and this is an opportunity to be heard in a relaxed, friendly environment.

Savor the Flavor: Food by Chef Joe Amaya

Great conversations are always better with great food! To make these gatherings even more special, our very own Chef Joe Amaya will be providing an incredible lineup of delicious bites throughout the semester.

Join Us for Our Kickoff Event

Our very first gathering takes place on September 24 from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. in the AC Parking Lot, where Chef Joe Amaya will be serving up delicious Mini Esquite. Come for the food, stay for the conversation, and connect with your campus community.

Please note that this initiative will continue once a month throughout the semester. Stay tuned to News from the Crow's Nest for information on future dates, times, locations, and menus.

We look forward to connecting with you, sharing some great food, and building a stronger campus community together. See you there!
