CHAP to Host Constitution Day Event Featuring Roberto M. de la Rosa

Porterville College’s Cultural and Historical Awareness Program (CHAP) is celebrating Constitution Day on Tuesday, September 16, 2025, with a special presentation by Roberto M. de la Rosa, JD, in the PC Theater at 7:00 PM.
Mr. de la Rosa, founder and Executive Director of O.L.A. RAZA, will deliver a presentation titled “Due Process.” His talk will focus on due process protections and birthright citizenship, offering valuable insights into these fundamental aspects of the U.S. Constitution.
A former farmworker who has dedicated his life to serving his Central Valley community, Mr. de la Rosa has had a profound impact in various leadership roles. His deep understanding of community needs and his work with O.L.A. RAZA, a distinguished non-profit that serves clients throughout California, have made him a respected leader.
The Constitution Day event is an excellent opportunity for students and community members to engage in a discussion about critical legal and civic topics.
About Roberto M. de la Rosa, JD: Roberto M. de la Rosa is the founder and Executive Director of OLA RAZA. He is a former farmworker who has dedicated his career to serving his community, providing education, and raising his family in California’s Central Valley. His work has focused on empowering those around him through a pronounced sense of responsibility and a deep understanding of community needs.
The CHAP program at Porterville College is committed to providing enriching and thought-provoking events for the campus community and the wider public. This lecture is free and open to all interested individuals.
