Find Your People: Club Rush Brings the Quad to Life!

This past Tuesday and Wednesday, the PC Quad was buzzing with energy as Porterville College hosted its Spring 2026 Club Rush.
The event served as a vibrant gateway for students to explore the incredible variety of clubs that make our Pirate community so unique. From academic honors and professional societies like Phi Theta Kappa and the Business Entrepreneurship Technology-IT Club, to cultural and interest-based groups like the Native American Club, the Art Club, and the Student Veteran Organization, there was truly something for everyone.
Why Get Involved?
Club Rush is more than just a series of booths; it’s about finding your people. College is as much about the connections you make outside the classroom as the lessons you learn inside it.
- Connect with Likeminded Peers: Find others who share your passions—whether it's for music, engineering, or community service.
- Discover New Passions: Many students walked away from the Quad with interests they never knew they had. You might just stumble upon a hobby or a career path you never thought you’d love when looking for your club!
- A Rounded Experience: Building a "Student Life" is a critical component of college success. Engaging with the campus community helps you stay motivated, develop leadership skills, and creates a support system that lasts well beyond graduation.
Don’t Wait—Get Connected!
If you missed the event, it’s not too late to dive in! Becoming a part of student life is the best way to ensure your time at PC is unforgettable.
As President Monarrez said in her welcome message, we are here to help you "Start Small and Go BIG," and our campus clubs are the perfect place to start growing those big dreams.
