Spotlight Shines on PC at National ACCT Congress

Nick Griffith, Porterville College's Director of Career Education, recently represented PC on the national stage, presenting at the prestigious Association for Community College Trustees (ACCT) Congress in New Orleans!
Griffith joined Kern Community College District Chancellor Dr. Steven Bloomberg, KCCD Trustee Nan Gomez-Heitzberg, and other district leaders to co-present the session: "Innovations in Climate Resilience and Workforce Readiness."
During the well-received presentation, Griffith was proud to spotlight Porterville College’s cutting-edge EV Tech Program, emphasizing the critical importance of robust industry partnerships in Career Technical Education (CTE) programs.
The presentation explored how innovative collaborations with federal, state, educational, and industry sectors are advancing climate resiliency and preparing the clean energy workforce, aligning with the California Community College Chancellor's Office Vision 2030 climate initiatives.
