PC Celebrates its Stars with Red Carpet Recognition

Porterville College recently rolled out the red carpet – literally! – for the annual Staff and Faculty Recognition Ceremony in the PC Theater. Attendees were surprised with a glamorous entrance, complete with "paparazzi," setting a celebratory tone for honoring the hard work and dedication of our amazing team.

Interim President Primavera Monarrez opened the event, followed by the recognition of faculty and staff who earned higher degrees and faculty who achieved tenure. Milestone service anniversaries were celebrated for those marking 5, 10, and 25 years at PC.

A special tribute honored retiring Counselor Kongming Mouanoutoua, celebrated for his positivity, humor, talents, and dedication to student success.

The ceremony concluded with a moving remembrance of retired faculty members Dr. Jay Hargis and Dr. Richard Osborne. Their lasting legacy and profound impact on the campus community were warmly acknowledged.

It was a vibrant and heartfelt celebration of the incredible individuals who make Porterville College a truly special place.
