Record Attendance at Porterville College Job Fair!

Over 1,500 job seekers attended the 4th Annual Porterville College Job Fair held on Tuesday, April 15, 2025, from 9 AM to 12 PM. The event, hosted by Porterville College, Porterville Adult School, and the Workforce Investment Board of Tulare County, provided a valuable opportunity for local residents to connect directly with dozens of potential employers from various industries.

Held inside the campus quad, the free job fair offered job seekers the chance to speak face-to-face with company representatives looking to fill hundreds of open positions. Attendees were able to share their skills and experience, making valuable connections for potential employment. An American Sign Language interpreter was also available on-site to ensure accessibility for all attendees.

Participating employers represented a wide range of sectors, including healthcare (State Hospitals, Eagle Mountain Healthcare, HealthForce), construction (Champion Home Builders, Powers), education (Teaching Fellows, Kern Community College District), manufacturing (Orkin, Sequoia Family Services), staffing agencies (Employment Connection, Exact Staff, HT Staffing & Development, Valley Angels), public service (Porterville Unified School District, City of Porterville, Tulare County), energy (SoCal Edison), and more.

This successful event marks the fourth year Porterville College has hosted the job fair, underscoring its commitment to connecting the local community with valuable employment opportunities.
