Success on the Quad! The 9th Annual Transfer Fair Was A Huge Hit!

What an amazing day for our students and the community! The 9th Annual PC Transfer Fair on Thursday, October 30th, was a resounding success, drawing a fantastic turnout of enthusiastic Porterville College students and future transfer students from our local high schools.

The Quad was buzzing with energy from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM as students took a BIG step toward their future by connecting directly with representatives from 21 transfer schools. Attendees used this valuable opportunity to discuss application processes, explore degree programs, and map out their path to a four-year institution.

The day wasn't just about the booths. Students also took advantage of the focused workshops held throughout the day, including sessions on Financial Aid for transfer students and a look at Business Majors & Careers. Additionally, students received in-depth program information from the Fresno Pacific University Teacher Education Program and the Fresno State Teacher Education Program (ITEP).

The Transfer & Career Resource Center hosted fantastic giveaways throughout the day to reward students for engaging with the college booths. The more college booths students visited and learned about, the more chances they had to win. A huge congratulations to the lucky students who walked away with some amazing prizes, including a Gaming Laptop, a 40" INSIGNIA TV, Bluetooth Speakers, Gift Cards, and plenty of great College Swag.
