Learn More About Administration of Justice (CA)
The Administration of Justice Certificate prepares students for careers in law enforcement, probation, and parole. They can also work in multiple specialty areas including detectives, S.W.A.T., narcotics, K-9 handlers, and motors officers. Career opportunities are expected to continue to be strong in these areas. The curriculum surveys the history, development, theory, and practical application of knowledge in areas of law enforcement, corrections, probation, and parole. The curriculum is kept current by continuous contact with other colleges and criminal justice agencies. The training programs are certified by the California Commission on Peace Officers Standards and Training (P.O.S.T.) and Standards and Training for Corrections (S.T.C.).
