Communication Studies (CA)

The Communication Studies certificate program is designed to enhance a student’s ability to communicate in social, professional, and relational contexts. This certificate is intended to enhance the communication skills of students from all majors and career plans. Communication courses focus on how people use messages to generate meaning within and across various contexts, cultures, and channels. Students are required to take four classes for a total of twelve units.
